This year’s Made in America Tour Line-Up includes some of the top acts in 2014. Whether you prefer hip-hop, dance music or rock the Made in America festival offers something for fans of all genres. Below we highlight our faves:
Australian born recording artist Iggy Azalea is undeniably the top act of the year. Her song “Fancy” is the summer anthem of 2014! Don’t miss Iggy on-stage in L.A. on August 30.
It’s been a major year for Kanye, he released Yeezus (2013) to rave reviews, married Kim Kardashian and embarked on a world tour. He takes the stage in Philly on August 30 and in L.A. on August 31.
In 2013 MTV labeled Kendrick the “Number 1 Hottest MC in the Game” and in 2014 he won a total of 7 Grammy awards. Kendrick gained a reputation in the underground rap scene and quickly rose to mainstream prominence. Don’t miss Kendrick Saturday August 30 in L.A.
Anyone who’s ever been to a live Steve Aoki show knows that this electro DJ (and son of Benihana founder Rocky Aoki) is into crowd surfing, cake throwing and champagne spraying-if you’re in the front row bring a change of clothes! DJ Aoki takes the stage Sunday August 31 in Philadelphia.
At the festival attendees can enjoy Budweiser beer and a host of local food trucks. Local restaurants were also in attendance last year and included Tiffan, Garces Group, Chickies & Petes and Cantina Feliz.
On The Parkway? There’s tons to do. Art lovers can enjoy world-class art museums including the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Barnes. Want to get grab a bite to eat that’s not at the festival? The Whole Foods on the parkway offers a vast selection of to-go options and we also love the new (and highly lauded) Pizzeria Vetri.
