Ry Cooder will bring his all-time guitar skills to Philadelphia’s Mann Center for an evening of excellent tunes this July. Joining him will be the masterful singer-songwriter Emmylou Harris, whose won 14 Grammys in her career.

July 4th

What better way to take in our country’s birthday than in its birth city with one of the best British singers in the world. Sam Smith will be in town this Independence Day, and once again bringing us all together for a night of soulful, wonderfully-sang ballads.

Billy Joel

July 27th

A Billy Joel baseball park concert is one of the best American summer experiences one can have. Head out to Philly’s favorite ballpark to hear the man crush classics like “Piano Man,” and “Only The Good Die Young.”

XPoNential Music Festival

July 27-29

WXPN is a public radio station run out of the University of Pennsylvania, and it’s bringing back the XPoNential Music Festival this year. One of the best music festivals near Philadelphia, this year’s lineup includes The War On Drugs, and Sturgill Simpson.

Budweiser Made In America Festival

September 2-3
There will be no better way to finish off summer concert season in Philadelphia than attending the Budweiser Made in America Festival. A massive festival with a lineup still under wraps impresses every year with household names for acts, and an excellent pop-up venue over the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
