Xpontential Music Festival
Experience three days of rockin’ music during the 20th annual XPoNential Music Festival on the Camden Riverfront.
This annual festival is produced by WXPN (a non-commercial, public radio station operated by the University of Pennsylvania), lasts for 3-days and takes place on two stages– the Susquehanna Bank Center and Wiggins Park. Both local and national artists perform, this year’s festival includes major acts like Beck, Ryan Adams, Band of Horses, and more. Attendees are welcome to bring a blanket and small chairs along with small coolers for food and non-alcoholic beverages. A variety of vendors and beer will also be available on site. Made in America Festival
Ben Franklin Parkway
Now in it’s third year, this festival (personally curated by Jay-Z) draws top acts. This year headline acts include Kanye West, Kings of Leon., Tiësto, Steve Aoki, Pharrell Williams, R3hab and Chromeo.
New this year, the Made In America Festival is going bi-coastal with festivals occurring simultaneously in Philadelphia AND in L.A. From August 30-31 the Ben Franklin parkway in Philadelphia is transformed into a musical pop-event- don’t miss the multitude of local food vendors.
