Bryan Ferry, known as the frontman of the 1970s experimental rock band Roxy Music, will stop by Philadelphia to celebrate his “Avonmore” tour. The show’s unique setlist will combine both Roxy Music and solo hits, including songs from Ferry’s critically-acclaimed release Avonmore. Don’t miss your chance to see one music’s most innovative artists as he celebrates his 14th album.
Ferry, a singer-songwriter from England, helped define the glam rock movement of the 1970s while with Roxy Music. The group produced the hit “Virginia Plain,” and successful albums like For Your Pleasure, and Stranded. From there, Ferry also started an illustrious solo career that has spanned five decades, 14 studio albums, and over 33 million album sales worldwide. On his most recent release, Avonmore, Ferry’s recognizable, classic smooth pop is apparent. The album reached No. 19 on the UK charts, and includes guest performances from Johnny Marr and Nile Rodgers.
