The Shops at Liberty Place

Stop by the largest block party of the summer and spend an afternoon enjoying live entertainment, unique crafts and an array of food offerings.

Mural Arts Paint Day
Noon – 4pm
Join the City of Philadelphia’s Mural Arts Program for a community paint day in Mantua – one of President Obama’s newly designated Promise Zones (an initiative to revitalize business in local communities). This is your chance to help create one of our city’s famed murals.
Monday June 30
Wawa Go 4th & Learn About Science and Wawa Dairy
Academy Natural Sciences
The first 200 kids to attend will receive a free book! Enjoy special programming and free museum admission all-day.
Tuesday July 1
Philadelphia Orchestra Neighborhood Concert & Fireworks
The Philadelphia Orchestra returns for its seventh summer to the RiverStage at the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing. This FREE concert brings the world-renowned orchestra to a new, community and audience, celebrating the organization’s commitment to enhancing the vitality of neighborhoods throughout the Philadelphia region. Following the performance, don’t miss the fireworks salute!

Friday July 4
Independence Day Parade
Time: 11 a.m.
Location: Parade starts at 6th and Chestnut Streets
More than 5,000 participants will take to the streets to celebrate Fourth of July in Philadelphia for a patriotic and colorful parade featuring marching bands, floats, military members and more.
Party on the Parkway
Time: Noon-7 p.m.
Location: Benjamin Franklin Parkway
Head to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway to celebrate America’s Birthday with a massive celebration featuring live music, family-friendly activities, games, food and more.
