Gay Day at the Phillies is when hundreds of LGBT fans head to Citizens Bank Park to enjoy a Phillies game! This year Gay Day at the Phillies takes place on August 5 when the Phillies face the Astros at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are $26 (sections 201-206) $17 (sections 301-305). A portion of every ticket sold goes to support the Sean Halpin Memorial Scholarship Fund. The Sean Halpin memorial scholarship fund assists LGBT students attending law school in the greater Philadelphia area.
Head to the game early to watch the first pitch of the evening thrown by an established leader in the LGBT community! The game kicks-off at 6:30 p.m. so you don’t want to miss it. Not able to make the game? Gay Day at the Phillies isn’t the only sports focused LGBT event this year. On April 5th basketball fans enjoyed the 76ers vs. the Brooklyn nets.
