This Holiday season take your family to the University of Pennsylvania’s Morris arboretum (100 E. Northwestern Avenue ) where the Holiday Garden railway is on display starting November 28. The Holiday Garden Railway is a quarter mile of a track of miniature trains, complete with landscapes made of natural material fans of mini trains and alike will marvel at the remarkable craftsmanship. The landscape includes miniature renderings of actual Philadelphia landmarks created just to scale! The Holiday Garden railway is on display from November 28 until January 5 from 10:00 am until 5:00 p.m.
On November 29 enjoy the grand opening of the Holiday Garden railway at a special party in honor of the 2014 unveiling. It’s a kick-off party that’s fun for the whole family, kids can enjoy arts and crafts, caroling and more. To see the Holiday Garden Railway in a different light head to the Friday Night Lights event on December 5, 12, 19 and 26. Where you and your family can enjoy the Holiday garden railway under the glimmer of seasonal lights from 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $16 for adult non-members.
