It’s true — no joke — the king of stand-up comedy is coming to Philadelphia soon! Jerry Seinfeld will be preforming at the Kimmel Center. Seinfeld has been making audiences laugh with his signature comedy routine for years and if you haven’t (or even if you already have) seen him live make it a mission to buy tickets now to his show. Tickets are limited, so you don’t want to waste any time.
Seinfeld’s comedic style to laugh at the little things in life is truly unique and has landed him a spot in entertainment history. Who didn’t binge on episodes of Seinfeld back in the 90’s? The Seinfeld show ran 9 seasons and goes down as a favorite in pop culture history. The show brought to life phrases such as “No soup for you.” Like many of you, we still love to catch a rerun.
Seinfeld is bringing that same wit to the stage. He credits his humor to his late father. During World War II, his father was stationed in the Pacific and used humor to get through the war. Seinfeld believes that “funny gene” was passed down to him.
Before you watch Jerry Seinfeld at the Kimmel Center, head over to Esita- 1405 Locust Street, for the Theatre Menu- 3 courses for $30. This Greek restaurant’s menu is full of Mediterranean flavor. We recommend you start with the Spanakopita. For your main course we suggest you try out the sea bass. It’s very fresh and you may want to try out one of their salads with it. If you still have room for dessert (the portions are large), you have to try the Baklava. It’s a sweet pastry filled with layers of chopped nuts and top of with syrup.
