The Midtown Village Fall Festival takes place on Saturday October 4 and is without a doubt one of the signature events of our neighborhood Midtown Village. This annual street festival takes place on 13th street from Chestnut to Locust Streets. The festival starts at 12:00 p.m. and ends at 8:00 p.m. Enjoy live entertainment, delicious eats from a wide variety of our favorite restaurants, shopping specials and more. This year the festival is in its 9th year and its bigger and better than ever.
Midtown Village has evolved into one of the city’s best restaurant hubs. Enjoy eats from Barbuzzo, Jamonera, El Vez, Sampan, and more! Barbuzzo (110 S 13th St.) will be serving up samples of some of their signature dishes which include Mediterranean chicken wraps, budinos and basil lemonade-YUM! Jamonera (105 S 13th St.) will offer will serve Moorish chicken, chicken kebabs, truffled manchengo cheese and papas fritas. El Vez (121 S 13th St.) will serve up some of their signature Mexican treats- we LOVE their guacamole, you truly can’t go wrong with anything they serve here.
It’s not just food that’s a major draw at the Midtown Village Fall Festival. Enjoy live entertainment (TBD) and shopping specials as well. Some of the city’s cutest boutiques reside on 13th street. Open House (107 S. 13th St.) is a great store for homegoods and gifts. Whether its chic and cute odds n’ ends your looking for, unique candles, Philly-centric totebags and more this store is your go-to. Verde (108 S. 13th St.) serves up Marcie Blaine specialty chocolates, pint sized gifts, artisan jewelery and a host of unique accessories. Whether you simply are looking for a treat for a loved one or merely want to accessorize your outfit before you head back out to the Midtown Village Fall Festival this store is an excellent stop.
