With more than 1.3 billion people, Bollywood films, diverse spiritual practices, and distinct cuisine, India continues to become a globally-recognized cultural force. Families can spend the day exploring India with a variety of activities at the Penn Museum. Henna tattoos, traditional dance, and learning art, music, and cultural practices of India are some of the ways to experience India in Philly. The day culminates with a Holi celebration, where the traditional festival of colors and love with overtake the Warden garden. This culture series is included in the price of admission.
The University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology is a world-renowned education and research institution. The museum has sponsored worldwide scientific expeditions for over 125 years.
