Step into another world at Philadelphia Comic-Con
On Sunday, July 13 the longest running comic book convention in Philadelphia will be taking place at the Clarion Hotel Conference Center. Accessible by public transportation, this is a must-visit for all those artistically enthused individuals who find themselves in Philadelphia this weekend.
The day will be chalked full of comics and artwork from all around the country. Dealers will be exhibiting and selling different styles of work, including action figures, non-sport cards, latest issues of your favorite comics, gold and silver age comics, Japanese manga and more. Among this exciting collection of work, attendees can expect to mingle with many experts, artists and special guests.
Greg Larocque, an artist who worked on Flash, is one of the most highly anticipated guests expected at this year’s Philadelphia Comic-Con. Flash was and continues to be an absolutely beloved comic book and artistic influence. Bill McKay, artist for Zombies vs Cheerleaders, will also be in attendance this weekend.
The show will be running all day long from 10am-4pm and every hour can be utilized by this vast collection of interesting work. With Marvel and DC Comics both working at the exhibition, some of the most acclaimed comic book creators and books themselves can be expected to be there.
