The Philadelphia United Jazz Festival is the ideal event for not only enjoying top-notch live music, but is also a chance to learn about Philly’s deep roots in jazz. The 4th annual festival will feature five days of some of the best talent in town. The festival moves inside this year, and will be held at four different venues.
Presented by LifeLine Music Coalition, a group dedicated to promoting the knowledge and influence of jazz artists in Philadelphia, the festival will be held at the South Jazz Parlor, as well as at Relish, Warmdaddy’s, and Paris Bistro. Last year’s festival featured stellar musical talents like saxophonist Odean Pope, the Sam Reed Quintet, and the US Army Jazz Big Band.
