The Red Hot Chili Peppers are rolling into town on February 12th. Head to the Wells Fargo Center to catch this epic rock concert.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers got their start in 1983 doing gigs around Los Angeles. Their stage antics and bizarre clothing caught them attention early on more so than their tunes. The 1989 album Mother’s Milk garnered them more recognition, with a hit like “Knock Me Down” and the Stevie Wonder cover “Higher Ground.” After some departures and replacements in band membership, Californication debuted in 1999 and became the band’s biggest commercial album, selling over 16 million copies worldwide. With fewer rap songs and more melodic riffs, vocals, and bass-lines, the record produced modern rock hits like “Scar Tissue,” “Otherside,” and “Californication.” The band released four albums after that, and their tour features hits from older and newer records.
