Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens (PMG) has hosted 2017’s Twilight in the Gardens since April, and the evening event will wrap up this October. On these select evenings, guests can relax with friends, enjoy live performances, and explore creativity with artistic activities. The mosaicked labyrinth that is open to tours during the day will feature these extra amenities as well as a BYOB space for picnic-style eats and drinks. Drinks and art combine for a twinkling night of art and creativity.
The final installation of Twilight in the Gardens at Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens (PMG) will feature performances by Not-So-Silent-Cinema and monster-making with Sam Heimer. Not-So-Silent-Cinema is the project of New York composer Brendan Cooney, who melds together mash-ups of musical personalities from different music scenes to create an innovative platform. Audiences can enjoy old silent films with daring live accompaniments that bring the films to life.
